Mother Well, Mama

Filling you up, so you can pour out.

One of the greatest joys as a doula is hearing from families how your support has positively impacted them. And one of the ways Mother Well Doula Service has positively impacted families beyond in-person birth support is through our virtual community groups.

For the last year and a half, our community groups have been under the skilled facilitation of Dr. Abigail Jorgensen. Each month, we have provided weekly pregnancy and postpartum community groups - as well as monthly bereavement groups - to Mother Well Mamas. Dr. Jorgensen - or ‘Abby’ if you’ve been to group! - is a warm, caring, and empathetic soul. I’ve been so impressed by her wisdom and attention to those details of life that really matter.

At the start of 2023, Mother Well evaluated its offerings and decided that we can no longer sustain weekly community groups as a small business.

The good news is: Abby and I aren’t going anywhere! We’re simply adjusting how we serve you!

You can expect the same amazing in-person doula support in Central Kentucky from Mother Well, as well as an expansion of our existing digital products for doulas and parents.

And from Dr. Jorgensen you can expect continued birth work from her new home base of St. Louis and online, PLUS a forthcoming book which we’re so excited about!

Thank you so very much for allowing these community groups to fill your cups each week. If you are already a member of the Facebook group, it will remain open, so please don’t be a stranger!

With love and care,
Victoria and Abby
